BISMARCK — Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem warns North Dakota residents become from the alert for con males posing as enthusiasts of pay day loan debts.
The scammers call people and threaten legal action unless re re payment is authorized from a banking account. A news release said in recent weeks, Stenehjem’s office and the North Dakota Department of Financial Institutions have received calls from consumers concerned about these bogus collection calls.
